Mercabarna Flor Market
Loving this new building for the flower market Mercabarna-Flor in Barcelona, Spain. Designed by Barcelona-based Willy Müller Architects, this new building features a multi-colored outer shell inspired by an aerial view of flower fields in full bloom. (via arch daily)

Phantom Image
Developed by Julius von Bismarck, the "Image Fulgurator" covertly intervenes with another photographer's image without them knowing. Triggered by a flash, this device will stealthily project another image onto a source object without any detection. The manipulation is only visible on another's photo afterwards. See sample interventions here.

Audience
Audience is an installation conceived by London-based collective rAndom International in collaboration with Chris O'Shea and consists of 64 head-size mirror objects. Each object moves its head in a particular way to give it different characteristics of human behavior. Some chat amongst themselves, some shy away and others confidently move to grab your attention. See a collection of videos here.

Plush Taxidermy
San Francisco-based sculptor Stephanie Metz works with felt to create plush forms that resemble taxidermic creatures. Her creatures are curiously life-like, whether they draw inspiration from animals in nature or iconic childhood novelties. Her "Teddy Bear Natural History" is especially clever in its depiction of a teddy bear's biological history.

Gehry's AGO
The new Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) designates Toronto-born Frank Gehry's first building in Canada. See an extensive slide show of the building here. The woodwork is stunning.
