Blunt Force Trauma
We mourned and cheered (well, cheered really) when our interactive project director, Shannon, was carried to the morgue tarp on last Sunday's Thanksgiving episode of NBC's Trauma. This marks Shannon's national television debut. And though he debuts with a death scene, this may signal the birth of his double-life on television.

Martian Landscapes
Some new images of Mars, taken from NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, have been posted on Boston.com's "The Big Picture." The high resolution imagery is stunningly sharp and crisp, rendering realistic details of Mars' cold ethereal landscape. It's hard not to be in awe.

It was only a matter of time before youtube would become the perfect vehicle for modern day détournement. For sometime now, Finnish based Santeri Ojala, aka StSanders, has been prolifically overdubbing hilariously crummy solos onto guitar hero concert footage and videos. His latest "Passing Stones" had me crying laughing.
