Frederic Gmeiner, Torsten Posselt & Benjamin Maus introduce an advanced automated extraction technique that collage differing architectural photography into new abstract forms utilizing common vanishing points. Sounds complicated. It is. But the process and results are pretty stunning. Watch this video.

Rotating Kitchen
Ah, food and art. Aside performance, there really isn't any other medium quite as ephemeral, and messy. Zeger Reyer's "Rotating Kitchen" was recently set in motion at Kunsthalle Düssuldorf for the "Eating the Universe, Food in Art" exhibition. The kitchen will continue to rotate until February 2010. Messy indeed.

Water Logo '09
Hara Design Institute, NDC + Atelier OMOYA and Monert fabric collaborate once again to exhibit their amazing 'Water Logo' at last September's Tokyo Fiber '09 Senseware exhibition. The logotype is formed entirely from drops of water seeping out of an ultra water-repellent fabric and premiered in 2007's Senseware exhibition. They have since enhanced the implementation to allow for further viewing and interactivity.

Erwin Redl
Austrian-born artist Erwin Redl creates some really nice site-specific large-scale LED installations that interject between architecture and audience. Not sure what he's currently working on, but judging from this, the scale of his work seems to be growing larger.
