Tolleson | Hiring: Design Intern

Tolleson is looking for a Design Intern to work part-time at our Sausalito studio for Summer 2026. If selected, you’ll work collaboratively and creatively with the Tolleson team. You’ll be exposed to as many aspects of our process as possible over the course of your internship and gain experience in the following areas: design best practices, understanding client needs, and receiving and incorporating feedback from the design team.

The ideal candidate has a strong creative eye and visualization skills and the ability to work across a range of mediums, from print to motion, packaging to digital experiences, and everything in between. We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of design who already has a body of successful work in their student portfolio.

As an intern at Tolleson, you can expect to do a lot of listening, observing, and iterating with a team of strong designers and photographers. You’ll be appointed a design mentor to help acclimate you to the studio. The mentor is available at all times for questions, feedback, and advice; you’ll report directly to the mentor throughout the internship.

• have excellent Adobe CS and Figma skills
• Animation, coding, and AI skills are a plus.

• Part-time position (3 days a week)
• 3 months, approximately June to August
• Hourly pay
• On-Site in Sausalito

Applicant must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work on-site at our Sausalito office for the duration of the internship. This is an in-person internship; remote work or working from another state is not available.
