EchoMark’s founders approached us with specific needs and an accelerated pre-launch timeline for their data security company. From prior experience, we knew we could be nimble yet deliberate with our process.
Strong, early rapport let us go beyond a simple refinement of their moth-inspired symbol and develop a comprehensive brand kit—a system of visual language and brand expression that would give them a stronger foundation to grow from.
We leaned into the deeper meaning of "echo location," exploring how the concept could extend into a broader visual language. This let us explore a distinctive brand identity to tell a story that reinforces EchoMark’s core offering in a way that was both strategic and visually compelling.
The identity we created was strong, scalable, and enterprise-ready—established enough for big business, yet simple enough for a brand in its early stages—giving them the credibility and flexibility they need from day one.

Our study of potential logos involved biology—specifically the unique shapes, behaviors, and characteristics of different moth species. Naturally, the concept of echolocation was a central topic of discussion, grounding our design exploration in scientific truth while building trust with Echomark's founders.
